Maternity wards provide antenatal care, care during childbirth and postnatal support. High-
dependency units can offer one-to-one care for women who need close monitoring when
there are complications in pregnancy or childbirth. These units provide maternity services
such as antenatal and postnatal care, maternal and foetal surveillance.
Pediatric wards provide care for patients below 15 years old with different health care needs.
We also accommodate patients for minor or major surgical procedures, preparing them for
operations, and provide post-operative care to pediatric patients.
• The operating room of a hospital or surgery center is an area that provides the environment
and equipment necessary for performing surgical procedures in a sterile and efficient manner.
It performs all major and minor abdominal, thoracic, and gynecological surgery performed in

Advanced Cardiac Life Support: CPR, Management of Obstructed Airway,
Electrocardiography, Defibrillation and Cardioversion, Administration of Emergency and
Cardiac Medications, Suctioning and Tracheostomy Care, Bedsore Prevention and Care.
Facilitate orientation of student nurses and nurse orientees in the hospital.
