1. 12th December 2012

2. Day 1
• It was early in the morning, the sky was dark.
• I was going to Shimla with my family and my bua’s family.
• My family was going on a train and my bua’s family was
going in a car.
• Unfortunately my bua’s family reached first at the resort
and went shopping, then at 3:30 we reached the market
met them at the coffee shop.
.We went to ridge below mall road
.We went to my mom’s old, auckland
house

3. Day 1 contd….
PLACES VISITED:
•We went to ridge above mall road
•We went to my mom’s old school- Auckland house
•We saw the roller skating rink
•We went to Lower bazar
WE ATE AT:
The Indian Coffee house
City Point bakery
Jalebis at a local restaurant
Chana jor garam –street food

4. Day 2
• It was a busy day, we ate breakfast and were ready to go.
• We went to the lift and roamed around mall road.
• When it was around 6:30 we went to the hotel from the car and when
we reached the hotel, we ate and enjoyed with a bonfire.
• We enjoyed eating pastry’s, donuts, aloo tikkis, chola bhaturas.
• We also went to Himani restaurant and bar.
• ‘Wake and bake’ café had excellent coffee and pitta breads with
hummus.

5. Day 3
• In the morning we were thinking of staying at the hotel but
we changed our minds because we came so far, so we went
again to mall road, it was looking tiring to me but everyone
agreed so we went.
• Once again we roamed around on the mall road and tried
lots of food places.

6. Day 4
• We left for Delhi in the car with bua’s family.
• We stopped by at Chandigarh and saw the rock garden.
• We had lunch at ‘Girl in the cafe’ in sector 17, Chandigarh
and dessert at the famous ‘Sindhi halwai’restaurant.
• Our dinner was at ‘Sukhdev’ dhaba in Muruthal- this place
was suggested by bade bhaiya a.k.a Sanchit Kalhan.
