A 38-year-old male presented with a 15 cm pedunculated swelling on his right buttock that had gradually increased in size over 4 years. Ultrasound findings showed a well-defined, lobulated, iso-echoic lesion with minimal vascularity, consistent with a cutaneous fibro-epithelial polyp measuring 15 x 8 cm containing prominent adipose tissue. Fibro-epithelial polyps are typically benign skin tumors of mesenchymal and ectodermal origin that usually occur in skin folds and do not exceed 1-2 mm, but can sometimes reach large dimensions.
