16. 1925“Filatura Rovereto”, a company controlled by Pirelli,
starts its production of high-strenght American
cotton, used for the production of tires, car straps,
Superga shoes soles, raincoats and floor (Linoleum).
Everyday Rovereto’s cotton mill produces 11.000 kg
of yarn, that means around 3 mln kilos per year,
half the Earth-Sun distance.
