EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The problem Dr. Web, LLC had, is that they were not using their resources effectively.
Proper communication techniques needed to be implemented. The factors we focused on to solve
their communication issues were the mediums they were using at the time. We decided to implement
IP phones and instant messaging for the employees, so they would have access to more efficient
communication methods. As for tracking projects, we suggested that they purchase a program called
“Track-it!” where employees enter tickets in for projects that describe the client’s characteristics and
the projects they are linked to. When the project is completed or still needs to be completed there
will be a section that will allow the employee to write what they have done or what has to be done.
Dr. Web, did in fact, implement all of our suggestions and the surveys for their employees have
proven a 90% increase in satisfaction.
INTRODUCTION
This report was done to provide information to CBSKTB Inc., authorized by Dr. Web, LLC, for
improving Dr. Web’s communications systems and overall fluidity of their business functions.
The problem Dr. Web, LLC had, is that they were not using their resources effectively. Proper
communication techniques needed to be implemented. The factors we focused on to solve their
communication issues were the mediums they were using at the time. We decided to implement IP

allow the employee to write a description what they have accomplished. Dr. Web, did in fact,
implement all of our suggestions and the surveys for their employees have proven a 90% increase in
satisfaction.
Dr. Web’s employees have been experiencing communication, collaboration, and progression of
tracking issues. It would seem that they did not have updated technology that could handle the scope
of issues they were experiencing. These issues lead to internal problems, but also to issues with
competing firms that have these useful technologies because they create a competitive advantage for
the competing firms.
3. FINDINGS & ANALYSIS
Our analysis team was led by chief advisor Trevor deWindt. There was an abundance of technologies
available for which he narrowed down according to Dr. Web, LLC.’s needs.
In Dr. Web, LLC’s we found that these were the company’s major issues:
· poor communication
· using resources ineffectively
The company also wants to enhance its knowledge and share information among individuals.
In order Dr. Web, LLC to enhance its knowledge and share information, it must first learn to
communicate appropriately. Better communication systems need to be implemented into the
company. The lack of communication between employees leads in the company using its resources
ineffectively. This is so that personnel are not wasting money and resources redoing projects because
of the lack of communication and time zone differences.
Our recommendations of using “Track-it”, “Eclipse”, and better means of communications not
limited to but consisting of “second-life”, “Google Hangouts”, “Skype”, and IP phones apply to the
problems Dr. Web was having. The recommendation of “Track-It”, a program that gives the
employees the ability to better update and maintain projects, past and present, focuses on the
company’s expressed concerns about the poor ability to keep projects organized. Eclipse, a coding
platform, provides a solution to coders working on Notepad, with the increased functions Eclipse
has over Notepad. With the current limited communication plan for Dr. Web’s company, employees
had a lack of confidence with each other. We have recommended better communication systems to
help these employees feel more comfortable in their work.

In conclusion, members are able to build off of the ideas of other members in the group to construct
a more-well rounded idea. Members know their roles, but are flexible and are able to change based
on what is needed for the task and what is best for the group. We are ecstatic to have the perfect
team. Our feelings of distress on day one have turned into a euphoric atmosphere. We have
established healthy collaboration and build a veil of trust that has allowed us to reach and surpass our
initial goals.
