service aims to identify families that need support at the earliest opportunity. Early Help supports
families with children (0-19yrs) in order to build their strengths and help them overcome issues .
This is a new service still in the design process with staff from other teams. Strong change
management skills are key due to the dynamics of the team to move them forward.Assessing
incoming referrals and allocate as appropriate, supervise casework, build partnership working in
the locality area and manage staff performance. The Early Help service is developing a model of
practice that involves a ‘Whole Family’ approach that will utilise motivational interviewing skills
and will measure progress using the Family Outcomes Star. line manage a group of Early Help
Practitioners and develop the ‘whole family’ approach across the team. Strong change
management skills are key due to the dynamics of the team to move them forward.Assessing
