small portion of their time applying the LDMAIC tools to their natural work area.
Description:
Many employees (including hourly) can and should be trained in the fundamental 7 basic tools of Lean
Six Sigma. To quickly achieve a major cultural change in an organization, we recommend teaching a
large percentage of the employee population in basic Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. This gives
them a stronger understanding of the process so that they can assist Black Belts and Green Belts on
their projects. Lean Yellow Belts are the team members that Green Belts and Black Belts rely on in the
work place. The Lean Yellow Belt is needed to gather data, participate in problem solving, and add
their expertise to the exploration process. The general participant may have little or no knowledge of
the Lean Six Sigma Methodology. The course provides you with an overview of Lean Six Sigma and
training in the Seven Basic Tools.
