I am an enthusiastic, conscientious and hardworking Facilities/Building Management professional with
Hard and Soft FM services and M & E, FM experience seeking a new FM challenge
I am a former Deputy Building Manger at the Supreme Court in London and have also worked in
Downing Street for a number of years showing demonstrable skills in managing buildings, people
and difficult situations
I am security cleared to a high level and confident with VIPs and high-profile individuals
In addition I am a confident problem solver, highly-motivated with a proven track record of providing
exemplary levels of service to a broad range of customers
I am an excellent team player who is also able to work independently

Streamlining of scanning of invoices leading to improving the efficiency of incoming and outgoing
payments
Speeding up the scanning of Accounts documents. With the result that the outcome giving the
accounts departments improved reliability and communication for payments, both in and out.
Improved scanning of staff expenses. The outcome has been the efficiency of quicker payments of
requested staff expenses.

Daily opening of post/recording incoming Special Delivery and Signed for items.
Keeping of various scan room records and administration of incoming Payroll mail, verification of
identity certification and coordination with various pension departmental teams.

Involved in organization of the official Royal opening of the Supreme Court, resulting in a smooth
opening ceremony with no issues
Redesigning of departmental space layout to improve the registry facility offices
Organizing of the general clean-up of the Court building after London riots to ensure that the Court
was able to proceed with the day’s business, thus preventing a significant loss of revenue through lost
court fees.

Providing support and cover for the Building Manager/Accommodation Director, taking responsibility in
his absence, when on leave including general daily management of the court buildings
Managed weekly Senior Management/General Facilities/Security arrangement meetings
Coordination of House Security regarding Access permits, Work permits and Method statements
Deputy Health and Safety Manager responsible for daily building maintenance checks, safety checks

Organising the transportation of legal documents for the inaugural overseas sitting of the Judicial
Committee in Bermuda and arranging for travel arrangements of the Court officials so that the Court
could sit efficiently and without problems
Responsible for redecoration and renewing office furniture to improve the look of the Registry offices
Organisation of TV recording of JCPC cases in Downing Street, as a result of which this is now used in
all cases where possible. This project involved researching various specialized companies then
coordinating with TV engineers and civil services estates to implement this into our historic building.
This also involved switching to normal News TV when court was not in session.
Involved in the organisation of the moving of JCPC from Downing Street to UKSC Parliament Square
to ensure a successful transition to the JCPC’s new Office. By negotiating with Harrow Green and the
National Archives. Required for moving essential office requirements and historical records.
Responsibilities:

Setting up of court TV systems and recording of Judgments where required
Arranging for delivery of the Queens Council and Privy Council Orders/coordination with solicitors for
draft order approval
Overseeing of daily management of the court building, including maintenance issues and cleaning
