2. FILM FESTIVAL
To promote our short film documentary I’m going to research
different film festivals that we could enter our short film into.
This would not be to win awards although that would be
beneficial to our Documentary but it would be to promote it
and get it out there to the audience.

3. THIMUN FILM
FESTIVAL
THIMUN Film Festival in Doha is a to encourage the
production of films that inspire, educate and and engage
around issues, both global and local.
They give everyone an opportunity to take part by opening
the submissions up to students in years 9-13.
THIMUN offer prizes for best picture, best national picture,
best story, best cinematography, best sound, best editing,
best poster and people’s choice award.

4. CANNES
Cannes festival is a large, well known festival in France
where hundreds of producers, and well known
actors/actresses who go to see both; different types of
documentaries and to see what awards they may have won.
Cannes would be an amazing opportunity to promote our
short film documentary but it is out of reach.

5. TRIBECA FILM
FESTIVAL
Tribeca is a huge film festival in New York where people from
all over the world submit their work to see if they can make it
to the big screen. Hundreds of short documentaries and
short films are submitted each year but only one is
successful per category.
Tribeca would be a great film festival to enter to promote our
short film documentary, but it would be out of reach.
