Nowadays, there is a lot of buzz about Go. It happened so that for the last 6 months I’ve been mostly programming Go, and frankly speaking I fell in love with this language. We’ll first do a quick review of the language. Go doesn’t have some language constructs, for example classes and exceptions and at first it may seem hard to write proper Go code, but in practice the language is so easy that I will try to teach you the basics and most important concepts of the language. We’ll further discuss differences and similarities in Go and Python and dive into the cool features of Go. Finally we’ll talk about why popularity of Go is raising so fast and try to answer the most important question: Do I need to switch to Go ?

What if Virtual Reality glasses could transform your environment into a three-dimensional work of art in realtime in the style of a painting from Van Gogh? One of the many interesting developments in the field of Deep Learning is the so called "Style Transfer". It describes a possibility to create a patchwork (or pastiche) from two images. While one of these images defines the the artistic style of the result picture, the other one is used for extracting the image content. A team from TNG Technology Consulting managed to build an AI showcase using OpenCV and Tensorflow to realize such goggles.

A key challenge we face at Pacmed is quickly calibrating and deploying our tools for clinical decision support in different hospitals, where data formats may vary greatly. Using Intensive Care Units as a case study, I’ll delve into our scalable Python pipeline, which leverages Pandas’ split-apply-combine approach to perform complex feature engineering and automatic quality checks on large time-varying data, e.g. vital signs. I’ll show how we use the resulting flexible and interpretable dataframes to quickly (re)train our models to predict mortality, discharge, and medical complications.

Whenever you do something that nobody has tried to do before, you often encounter difficulties, that well, nobody has found before! During this talk we will walk you through the data, the modelling, the problems that we encountered and solutions while working together with Graydon on predicting whether different kinds of companies will of relocate. For this use case, we analyzed 10 years of data for two million companies using around 100 descriptors / features, and produced a predictive model using decision trees and random forests on Google Cloud Platform.

The beloved chatbots are occupying a lot of IT-fields incredibly fast because they are easily customized, validated, API integrated. In short words, smart AI. In my talk, I am going to explain how to easily customize conversational sign-up forms with multiple field types to collect information through a chatbot-like experience written with React and Redux such as Name, Email, Location, and so on. Moreover, I will highlight how to recognize if the user enters the right data and how the chatbot will be making decisions and how to proceed with conversation depending on the user's replies.

Whenever you do something that nobody has tried to do before, you often encounter difficulties, that well, nobody has found before! During this talk we will walk you through the data, the modelling, the problems that we encountered and solutions while working together with Graydon on predicting whether different kinds of companies will of relocate. For this use case, we analyzed 10 years of data for two million companies using around 100 descriptors / features, and produced a predictive model using decision trees and random forests on Google Cloud Platform.

The beloved chatbots are occupying a lot of IT-fields incredibly fast because they are easily customized, validated, API integrated. In short words, smart AI. In my talk, I am going to explain how to easily customize conversational sign-up forms with multiple field types to collect information through a chatbot-like experience written with React and Redux such as Name, Email, Location, and so on. Moreover, I will highlight how to recognize if the user enters the right data and how the chatbot will be making decisions and how to proceed with conversation depending on the user's replies.
