This method of work is called ROAX and was developed by Kouraich Jaouahdou,
an expert consultant in communication and development for Human
Development Programs and Cooperation.

1. What is your purpose?
• First define the problem or negative observations to highlight why your
mission, project, or business is relevant.
• Define the ideal situation your program aims to reach. What is the ideal end
result?

• What are the indicators to evaluate the ideal situation?

• How will you achieve each objective?
• Every objective will be reached through various working axes.

• Who are you trying to communicate with on every Axis?
• Break this population into sub-groups to determine what role each individual
or group plays in achieving your objectives.
– Beneficiary- People who will benefit from your work
– Functionary- People who can help you
– Internal- People in your association who need to understand the mission,
vision, and objectives

• Plan the actions that need to be taken through the various working axis.

• Create a timeline and detailed plan. Maintain an organized system for
classifying the different objectives, approaches, and activity.

• Create a budget that reflects the plan of action. This will enable you to justify
and present the cost of a project, business, or association.
