Identify why employees are disengaged and discuss if any issues are present and rectify them by giving better solutions.
Motivate them with tangible benefits.
Intrinsic motivation can be increased by making the employees feel at ease, encouraging them to develop their skills and promoting them to higher positions.

Steps to Improve Employee  Engagement
Review the employee’s performance appraisal .
Encourage employees to interact with HR personnel.
Never get involved in an employee’s  personal life.
Develop positive attitudes in the workplace.
Train the managers to manage the employees better.
