How to deal with disengaged employees at the workplace?
The success of any organization depends on the collective work of every individual.
Typically, a mix of fully engaged and disengaged employees can be found at a workplace.
CHARACTERISTICS OF DISENGAGED EMPLOYEES
Disengaged Employees Ruin the Environment Disturb the work Produce low productivity

CRITICAL ATTITUDE OF PARTLY-ENGAGED EMPLOYEES.

Identify who is engaged, partly-engaged and disengaged.
Identify why employees are disengaged and discuss if any issues are present and rectify them by giving better solutions.
Motivate them with tangible benefits.
Intrinsic motivation can be increased by making the employees feel at ease, encouraging them to develop their skills and promoting them to higher positions.
Extrinsic motivation includes: ,[object Object]
Giving bonus
Providing extra incentives,[object Object]
Make them understand their position
Assign mentors to them,[object Object]
Steps to Improve Employee  Engagement
Review the employee’s performance appraisal.
Encourage employees to interact with HR personnel.
Never get involved in an employee’s  personal life.
Develop positive attitudes in the workplace.
Train the managers to manage the employees better.
CONCLUSION
"Disengagement in the workplace hinders progress and results in low productivity. These disturb the work environment and decreases profits. Managers need to be trained on how to deal with these issues and increase productivity by involving disengaged employees in various activities."
