What is it like working with elephants in the jungle? How do you manage military dogs? Why would the government send you out to remote sandbanks in a canoe? This presentation on what it is like to work as a vet in isolated areas was made to veterinary students in April 2015. It aimed to highlight that the world is your oyster. If you are willing to step outside your comfort zone, embrace new challenges and think laterally, there is a huge variety of places to explore and problems to address in this wonderful world of ours. Vets can work in any sector, anywhere in the world and address many problems ranging from public health to wildlife conservation. To find out more or ask questions visit http://conserv8nvet.net/ and follow Conserv8nVet on Twitter
