Having a 1:1 mapping between the applications from your internal systems
and Automation Hub will help build stronger business cases around the
automations being developed.
Your application ecosystem keeps evolving and your Automation Hub KPIs
are influenced by the type and number of applications used in an
automation. So, you want the applications to always be updated.
Use the API to keep your application inventory up to date.

Adjust default KPIs or create new custom KPIs that help you reach
an optimal prioritization of automation opportunities.
The business goals for the next quarter changed in your
company and therefore you need to adjust several weights part of the
OOTB indicators, adjust the formula for Benefits expressed in
hours/year and replace the indicator for Benefits expressed in
currency with a new Operating Margin KPI.

Question Answer
We want to be able to use one
Automation Hub across multiple
tenants. The segregation is
unfortunately necessary and
folders aren't good enough. We
do however want to have one
view of all automations.
Automation Hub allows us to tie
orchestrator processes to
automations, but only on the
tenant that is active. Is there
any plans or a way to allow
idea/pipelines to be linked to
processes on other tenant
orchestrators?
Hi Andrew. Automation Hub is a tenant level service that communicates
solely with the services within the same tenant. Rather than allowing cross-
tenant communication, we recommend reconsidering why do you need to
use Orchestrator on several tenants (beyond the Dev / Test / Production
case). The folder structure in Orchestrator is solid enough to allow you to
have one Orchestrator, which can continue communicating with one
Automation Hub.
One AH communicating with several Orchestrator is not a scenario we
intend to cover at this point.
In continuation to the one to many scenario - one thing we are exploring is
allowing doing cross-tenant reporting in Insights, on top of the Automation
Hub data as well (similar to how it is done with the Orchestrator data). But
this still relies on the fact that Automation Hub is a tenant level service,
which communicates with the Orchestrator in the same tenant.

Question Answer
Instead of it being Azure
Connected, can it be connected
to Google Directory?
In Automation Cloud (where the integration is done), we support Azure AD
and SAML integrations. User documentation for reference:
https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/docs/authentication-settings
Best for us to keep the
automation hub assessment as
simplified as possible, to allow to
collect more use case within the
organisation.
I'm exploring just using Total
time needed to perform the work
per year - AS IS as to collect the
metrics...
How would it affect the UiPath
Automation Hub dashboard?
Of course, it is up to you how complex or simplified to keep the
assessment.
The KPIs from the Detailed Assessment influencing the pie chart in the
Automation Program Performance are:
- Revised benefit per company (hours saved/year)
- Revised benefit per company (currency/year)
-> If you just modify them, but not delete them, it will not impact the
dashboard. But we recommend you try to build your custom reports using
the Automation Hub KPIs using our integration with Insights
(https://docs.uipath.com/insights/v0/docs/automation-hub-integration-
overview). The Automation Hub data model from Insights allows you to build
custom dashboards, tailored to your needs.

Question Answer
If you add a custom assessment
question- like what location will
this bot be used, can that be
used in KPIs and also at the
filtering level of the KPI?
Yes
Hub doesn't really allow us to
adjust column widths. WIll this
change in the future?
We are investigating and will probably include this in our 2023 backlog.
My first time hearing about
Insights Cloud Integration. Is
there additional fee on this?

Q&A (3)
25. 25
Question Answer
Hi, Is there a way to connect
automation hub and on-prem
Insights? we are yet to migrate
to cloud
We are planning to move the Automation Hub & Insights integration into
Automation Suite as part of our 2023 roadmap.
We are not planning to support hybrid models, where Automation Hub cloud
connects to Insights On Premise.
Sometimes the financial benefit
calculation varies from how
Finance wants to calculate it.
Can you advise on the
justification for the default
formula?
The algorithm was created and set as default based on discussions with
professional services teams and their experience in customer RPA
implementations.
Here is some documentation around this:
