3. 1. ATTEND ALL YOUR CLASSES
You must attend your classes
regularly because if you miss one day, just
like you are out of the business. Try to be
active also in your class. Earn attendance
points. Many teachers have attendance
policies, so you can have a direct impact
on your grade simply by attending.

4. 2. BE ON TIME TO CLASS
This is a really simple task, but be
on time. If you rack up tardiest, you'll
have consequences such as lunch
detention, after-school "tardy party",
calls home, etc. It's a pain to deal with
those things and it ticks off your
teachers, so just get to class on time.

5. 3. TIME MANAGEMENT
It's important that you
develop effective strategies for
managing your time to balance the
conflicting demands of time for
study. Time management is the key
to avoid you from submitting
deadline requirements.

6. 4. HAVE A GREAT PLANNER
Make a plan of what you are going to study.
Do not forget to insert your breaks, fun outings, and
after-school plans into your planner. Do not forget to
bring it to every class so you can always keep it up-to-
date. A planner will help you remember test dates
and what's due for what class and when after a long
break. Also, write down any after-school things like
club meetings and practices, and make sure to
include start and end times.

7. 5. LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION
Your teachers know what they're doing when
they teach, so listen up. Plus, teachers get really
irritated with people who don't listen and "disrupt
the learning process." If they tell you to save
something, save it. It will help when you are
reviewing for tests. Paying attention in class will
allow you to learn more and will also make both
reviewing and actually taking those tests and
quizzes a lot easier than just cramming.

8. 6. DO YOUR HOMEWORK
Keep a set amount of time to do your homework.
Identify the important work you have to do, such as
essays or projects, as well as the work that will require
less time and effort. Use dead time like bus rides or
while you are eating breakfast to catch up on assigned
reading.
If you ever happen to be sick, ask a friend to see if
he/she can pick up your homework for you. In high
school, being sick is not an excuse for not doing
homework unless you are physically sick.

9. 7. DON’T PROCRASTINATE
First, you must overcome your procrastination
habits. If you're a procrastinator, I highly
recommend making a timeline whenever you get a
long-term assignment. If you have a project that’s
due in a month, set aside the first week for
brainstorming, make a rough outline of the project
in the second week, flesh it out as much as possible
in the third week, and spend the rest of your time
perfecting it. The rest of the day, you may do
advance reading related to your lesson or do the
other requirements because time is the essence.

10. 8. BE HEALTHY!
Being healthy actually helps you think a lot
more clearly, lose weight easier, and just
makes you feel good. You must eat regularly,
don’t torture yourself too much in doing
paper works take a rest. . Though you may feel
that your schedule is too-jam packed to pay
attention to your body, remember that if you
feel healthy and are being active, you will
improve your appearance and performance in
school.

11. 9. STAY ORGANIZED
Here's what I recommend: 1) Have either a
folder or binder, both with dividers, for each class,
and store notes, classwork, graded work, etc. inside
in chronological order. 2) Color code your stuff,
right down to the color of your textbook covers.
Assign each class a different color, and have all the
supplies for each class match (ex. If your English
class's color is red, then make sure that class's
folder and spiral are red). This makes for easy
spotting when quickly grabbing stuff from your
locker to take home or to your next class.

12. 10. STAY FOCUSED
To survive in Senior High School, you have
the right mind frame. Even if you are not feeling
motivated on a particular day, tell yourself to
work hard and know that you will reap the
benefits later. Do not let friends lead you off the
path that leads to success. Remove all the
distraction and stay Focused. Avoid giggling
with your friends or texting during class. The
most important thing is to listen to your teacher
and focus in your lesson.

13. 11. ASK FOR HELP SOONER RATHER THAN LATER
Often, the key to success is knowing when
to ask for help, and Senior high school classes are
no exception. If you don’t understand a concept,
don’t wait until you’ve already bombed a test to
get help. Approach your teacher as soon as
possible, and ask if he or she would be willing to
meet you after school to go over the material. By
doing this, you can avoid bad grades before they
happen and build a positive relationship with
your teacher. If you’re worried about
approaching your teacher because you are shy,
you may asked your friends to help you.

14. 12. STAY POSITIVE
Start your day with a great smile or
else the rest of your day will not be nice.
Having a good attitude will help you keep
your spirits up when life starts to fall apart
around you. Stay calm and relaxed even if
you feel like nothing in your life is going
right. You can lose yourself and mess up in
all the craziness. Be optimistic and not so
negative.

15. 13. DON’T RELY ON YOUR SMART BEST FRIEND
Another way of saying this is “don’t cheat,” but
sometimes the definition of cheating can be
nebulous. If you and your friends help each other on
a homework assignment, that’s probably fine
depending on the distribution of work. However, if
you directly copy a friend’s homework (even if they
say it’s ok), it’s definitely a form of cheating whether
or not the homework counts toward your grade. If
you copy your friends’ homework assignments,
you’re committing self-sabotage. You must believe in
yourself that you can do it.

16. 14. DON’T WORRY ABOUT WHAT EVERYONE THINKS
Senior year is all about confidence.
When you worry about what other said
you feel down and lose confidence. At the
end of your years, devote time to yourself
and remember that popularity doesn’t
matter. Enjoy being a big fish in a little
pond.

17. 15. DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF WITH OTHER PEOPLE
The only person you should be
competing against is yourself. Think
about how you can do better
than your last test grade. Think that God
created us equally. "Focus on
what you can do to make yourself go
farther, then go for it!" (another great

18. 16. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS
While it is so important to take
time for yourself, hang out with your
friends. Senior year is really the year of
you! Enjoy yourself and do things that
make you happy. You should limit
yourself for everything, especially
when you have a requirements to pass.
You will thank yourself in the end.

19. 17. LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS
Listen to your parent’s advice to you
because they know what is right and
wrong. Always obey the rule of your
parents to avoid you from wrong path. In
your study seek for advice from your
parents if your decision is right.

20. 18. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY
Tests and quizzes will make up a large part of
your grade, so remember to study as often as you
can. Develop and practice good study habits. Make it
a habit and studying will become second nature to
you. Whenever you study think of your dreams that
you must to achieve so that you are more
determined to study. Study with friends to gain
support help one another, but… don’t turn it into a
social event. Make sure work is done before
socializing. Be attentive during class. The more you
understand the material, the easier it will be to study.

21. 19. MAKE YOUR FAMILY AS YOUR INSPIRATION
Make yourself inspired every day
because this will bring you more active and
more confident. Family is the foundation of
every individual, if we are inspired every day
we have a hope to live and hope to achieve
dreams. Family is the one who enlighten our
way, and yet they are the inspiration to
nurture and feed our dreams.

22. 20. BELIEVE IN GOD
In everything we do we must
approach and commit to God.
Make Him as the center of your life.
How matter you are busy in your
study, still make a way to talk with
Him, pray and worship Him,
because He is the savior of
everyone.
