The bar exam will look a bit different starting in February. Civil Procedure is being added as the seventh
subject of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) portion of the exam.
The MBE will still contains 200 multiple-choice questions, administered over a one-day period. With the
addition of Civil Procedure, the 190 scored questions (ten questions are unscored and used for evaluation)
on the MBE will be distributed as follows:
Civil Procedure (27)
Constitutional Law (27)
Contracts (28)
Criminal Law and Procedure (27)
Evidence (27)
Real Property (27)
Torts (27)
Starting in late October, Critical Pass Flashcards will include Civil Procedure, which will also be available
for purchase as an individual subject. Until then, please keep in mind that orders placed until then will not
contain Civil Procedure.
