EQUIPMENT IN THE MULTI-USER SCIENCE RESEARCH
             LABORATORY (MUSRL)

SPECIAL FEATURES: equipped with graphite furnace, vapor generator assembly( VGA)
auto sampler & assorted multi-element lamps.
LAMPS & STANDARDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLL0WING ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS:
aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, beryllium, bismuth ,boron, chromium, cadmium,
calcium, cobalt, copper, gold, iron, lead, lithium, magnesium, mercury, molybdenum,
nickel, palladium, platinum, potassium, silicon, silver, selenium, sodium, titanium,
tungsten, tin, vanadium, zinc.
DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETER (DSC)

One of the latest addition to the Lab is the DSC. It is used to
determine the temperature and heat of transformation in both liquid
and solid materials: measures physical properties like compatibility,
purity, crystallization, heat capacity and evaporation. It also assesses
stability and the kinetic profile of materials and is useful for food ,
pharmaceutical and material sciences.
