1. Process Journal
Daniele Ferretti
As I put in my step-by-step plan, I have successfully started my product creation on October the 24. I
24/11/13
have changed the plan throughout my process by upgrading and expanding the already new product
animation. I already predict that the actual assembly of the animation will be easy, the animated part
will be a true challenge to me since I have never touched the genre of moving cartoons and animations;
a skill I must and will learn throughout the creation of my product.
Since I have all the characters setting s and props ready my plans can unravel and I can start combining
everything to create the final animation. This is easy because the online program itself contains
catalogues of all sorts of things, but since I am using the program freely, I have to be reduced to less
than a membership would give me.

The making of the videos.
As my backgrounds and characters progressed, I have realized that the video length capacity of the
GoAnimate videos for free is 30 seconds. This limits me on a steady continuation, but I have slightly
rearranged this by making more than one video and continuing from each one's end to the next one.
The current videos.

2. Because there has been an update on the deadline of the product being the 17/12/13 my plans have
been altered to fit the new schedule and now I will work mostly on weekends since I am close to
finishing and have another 2more weeks to make the product.
Another poor quality to the online program is it becomes extremely slow and not reactive within 5-10
minutes of using it. This becomes extremely frustrating to me because when detail or typing is needed, I
have to wait for the whole program to update to see where I placed something or to see what I have
written 2 minutes later each time. The overall range of the program is good, but these major issues
make the program almost unusable at times.

Where I am at in the product.
The program at this point in time has become the worst and biggest pain of the project because of its
very poor functionality because at this point in my work the online program is running so slowly than I
must wait for every single of my movements and the programs bad reaction time. It is not my fault or
my computers because any other program or site works perfectly and at normal speed, but the
GoAnimate.com website, in the video editing sections, seems to be having some major technical issues
that I have allot of difficulty navigating through.
