2. ABOUT ME My name is David and I am an artist. My work experience include
being a stylist for print, television, and film as well as being a visual
merchandiser for a notable street wear brand.
I am passionate about the arts, color theory, and lifestyle. One of my
hobbies is trend-spotting, directly observing people’s style on the
streets. My works’ aim is always aesthetically driven.
In line with my previous works, I always have to incorporate the
theme and brief given by the client.
I gravitate towards minimalism. If I have to describe my personal
style, it would have to be comfortable, relaxed, and modern.

IMAGINE MAGAZINE is the innovative fashion and design
glossy by the team behind the i section of the Manila
Bulletin (newspaper). A high-end, 280-page glossy,
Imagine takes fashion coverage to the next level,
following the trends in international fashion publishing,
where fashion is treated as an exhilaration of an art form,
and a magazine serves both as a portfolio and an idea
platform. Published biannually by Manila Bulletin
publications.
CHALK MAGAZINE is a college lifestyle and fashion
magazine. Chalk ended its publication in May 2017,
following the launch of its online portal.
4. VANS If you happened to catch the 2001 film Dogtown and Z-Boys, you
might remember the story of how a bunch of ragtag teens in Venice,
Calif., would expropriate neglected backyard swimming pools, then
drain the water out so they could have a nice cement bowl to
skateboard in. “Riding” the pool meant carving paths across the
bottom, working up to the rim and then, using momentum to defy
gravity, going “off the wall.”
For fashion brand Vans, that’s always been a bit of a problem.
Because Vans—known for its rubber-soled canvas shoe—wasn’t just
part of the Z-Boys’ standard skateboarding uniform in the mid-1970s,
it has used the phrase “Off the Wall” as a brand slogan since the late
1960s, when Paul Van Doren started selling shoes that bore his name
out of a shop in Anaheim, Calif.

present a full line of apparel, accessories and
footwear this fall.
As the unifying emblem throughout the
collection, THRASHER’s signature orange flames are
emblazoned across classic Vans staples, to
reimagine hoodies, t-shirts, long-sleeves, jackets,

Back in 2016, Vans’s director of footwear color and trend Rian
Pozzebon told Vogue, “The Vans checkerboard is full of wild
spirit.” Well, who better to reinterpret that optic print than Karl
Lagerfeld?
Lagerfeld’s visage appears on Vans’s slip-ons, as well as on a
black-and-white tee. There’s more apparel and accessories—like
a hoodie and a K-stitched, quilted backpack—and in terms of
footwear, the collection promises six styles, including the debut
of Vans’s Sk8-Hi laceless platform and the Old Skool laceless
platform.
9. Vans and the Van Gogh Museum proudly partner to
