I am writing to recommend David Gebler for a teaching position in your district/school. I have known David for 4 years, ever
since he began working as a classroom teacher at Imagine Foundations at Leeland Public Charter School.
He is a hard-worker who endures new challenges every day to impart instruction and create an inquiry filled classroom
environment. His instructional style is often a blend of standard based content and real life connections. He contributed immensely
to our school by serving as a driving force in our Character Development initiative during the 2013-2014 school year.
As Maryland continues to teach to the Common Core State Standards, I am sure you will find David to be consistently planned and
prepared to instruct his students according to these standards. His instructional time with his students is very sacred to him.
What I have found to be David’s best asset is his ability to utilize appropriate language and a team spirit to interact effectively with
students, coworkers and staff. As a model of good behavior, he is in a league of his own and can provide extra instructional support
based on individual student assessments. Every aspect of his teaching is innovative to say the least; instruction, assessment,
interaction, communication, documentation, administration and classroom management are just some of his areas of expertise as
far as teaching is concerned.
