This risk assessment document identifies potential risks for a photography shoot and strategies to prevent or overcome them. It lists risks such as illness of those involved, unfavorable weather, equipment issues like a full SD card or broken camera, low battery, bad lighting, unavailable or unsafe locations, public interference at the shoot location, and general health and safety concerns. For each risk, the document names who is responsible for the risk and describes actions that can be taken to address the risk.

If anyone involved in the shoot is ill I may
have to find a quick replacement or wait
until the person/people are better.

If the weather is not to my liking or
anyone els e’s , I will have to wait until it
improves or my shoot.
SD card full All Me
If the SD card is full on my camera I will
go through the photos on the camera and
back up the photos I need onto my
computer and then delete them off the
card.
Broken Equipment All Me
If any of my equipment gets broken then I
might have to hire a camera from college
or ask if anyone would borrow me one for
a day.
Low battery All Me
To prevent a low battery on my camera I
will charge it the night before the shoot.
Lighting All Me
To overcome bad lighting for my shoot I
will wait until the lighting I need is
available or I will use a flash if the lighting
is too dark.
Location safety / unavailable All Me
I will make sure I have the location
planned out, if I need permission I will
ask for permission and I will also check to
see if it is safe.
Public interference Outside Me
Make sure the location is empty at the
time of the shoot.
General Health & Safety All Me
I will tell people involved in the shoot to
be careful and safe so there is no illness
or injury before the shoot.
