Monitor Stakeholder Engagement is the process of monitoring project stakeholder relationships and tailoring strategies for engaging stakeholders through modification of engagement strategies and plans. Why? The key benefit of this process is that it maintains or increases the efficiency and effectiveness of stakeholder engagement activities as the project evolves and its environment changes.

Meetings are no longer limited by face-to-face or voice-to-voice interactions. While face-to-face interactions are ideal, they can be expensive. Teleconferencing and technology bridge the gap and provide numerous ways to connect and conduct a meeting.

A root cause analysis can be used to determine the basic underlying reason that stakeholder engagement is not having the planned effect.
