I'm a journalist, a coder, a designer and a cartographer who loves using a broad skill-set to explain the news. For eight years I've been covering state policy and politics through traditional articles and new media forms. I love drawing on both data and shoe-leather reporting to cover complex topics in a way that's easy for people to understand, and use both traditional articles and new media tools to convey this important information to readers.
