Objectives
3. This procedure applies to the conduct
and monitoring of implementation of the
Homeroom Guidance Activities for
Grade 1 to 10.
Scope
4. 1. The Homeroom Guidance Program shall contain activities that are
responsive to the holistic development of the students, which shall
include the following areas:
- Values and Character Formation
- Life Career Development
- Gender Sensitivity and Sexuality Education (Grade 7 – 10)
- Health and Wellness
2. Homeroom Advisers shall implement at least 2 relevant classroom-based
activities from the “Homeroom Activity Modules” every Monday.
3. Homeroom Advisers may seek assistance from the Guidance Personnel
if necessary.

5. 1. Homeroom Adviser shall discuss with the
Guidance Counselor about any student
concerns that may arise.
2. Prepares Quarterly Homeroom Activity Report
and submit it to the Guidance Personnel.

• To develop desirable ideas and habit of citizenry.

• Help the students develop open
communication skills.
• Facilitate group guidance activity
through their class adviser.
10. Objectives
• Help the homeroom advisers develop their
facilitating skills.
• Acquire techniques in handling homeroom
activities particularly in the area of processing
students’ responses and reactions.
