My name is Declan Brophy
This is the logo I have had
produced myself using Adobe
Illustrator.
This stands out from the rest
because I used results I had
gained from my survey and
implemented them into my
logo/magazine, to give the people
what they wanted to see. This
gives it more of a unique look from
other logos.
3. My magazine Cover and
Inspiration
I did research into different
magazine covers and came up with

I have thought about the
positioning of items on the front
cover. For example, I have placed
my barcode in the bottom corner as
every other magazine does so. I
have placed a ribbon in the bottom
left corner as I thought this would
look unique & stand out from the
others
4. My feedback from the
questionnaires.
These results are based on the cover of the
magazines. They decided that they wanted
the magazine to be based on events, so I
decided that I can base the magazine on
local SCC events instead.
Majority of the people wanted the magazine to
be “bright & Vibrant”. I used this information and
implemented it onto my magazine cover. I felt
like it gave it more of a better feel and which
made it more appealing to the reader
5. Magazine Cover Image
I used this image as my cover image as my
questionnaire results saying that they wanted
a vibrant cover, so I took on their
advice/thoughts and implemented it. I also
personally liked this image from the rest
which made me like it more and to use as a
magazine cover.
My brief was to design a magazine cover
based around Salford City College and
needed to use images that were relevant to
the college.
My image is of the Eccles Sixth Form College
sports hall. I thought it was a good image to use
because it stood out from the actual college itself
as it was a big structure. The angle that the image
was taken at gives makes it more appealing to
the eye.
