In my previous research, both in bachelor and master theses, I studied source rocks being suspicious for generating hydrocarbons. I used Organic Petrology techniques like maceral analysis in dispersed organic matter under white and blue light excitation, vitrinite reflectance, Total Organic Carbon by applying wet chemistry techniques and Loss of Ignition. I also made use and interpreted the data of X-ray diffraction, X-ray Fluoresence, C,N,S,H,O Elemental Analysis and Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometry.
