Doctor in Geography and History from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Professional archaeologist since 1990. He has conducted hundreds of archaeological excavations: medieval, late antique, Roman, the Iron Age and the Bronze. Specialist in the Roman world and the Second Iron Age in the center of the Iberian Peninsula. Co-directed from 1998 to 2005 the archaeological project "Plaza de Moros".
