2. CAREER INTEREST
• My career interest is to become a physical therapist for
professional sports team. With this career I want to travel with
the teams.
• To be knowledgeable about my career interest I have
researched the NBA, NFL, MLB and, NHL these industries are
constantly looking for physical therapist who are properly
experienced
• As a physical therapist the requirements are acute, home
health, long-term care, outpatient, pediatric, psychiatric,
rehabilitation, school, and sports medicine.
• The two degrees are the Master of Physical Therapy degree
or a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree but DPT is most
common

4. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements as a undergrad:
• To get into grad school, you’ll need to earn good grades in
biology, anatomy, physiology, and math as an undergrad.
• Related volunteer experience is sometimes a requirement and
always a plus, as is CPR certification
I must be prepared to:
• Complete internship requirements
• Practice new skills with patients in a variety of clinical settings
• Learn to spot and treat a wide range of problems
• Focus on science
• Commit to two or three years of grad school
