System Overview
• The CBMS Mobile Application is an Android-based
application developed mainly to aid the CBMS data
collection process.
• This app sets data security as its highest priority in which
all collected data are encrypted within the mobile device.

• It has an established set of network protocols to secure
sensitive data during data transfer and prevent any
unauthorized interferences.
• Before a user can use the app, it requires device and user
registration which can be monitored through the CBMS
MIS portal.

Processor: 2.0 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm SDM 429
Internal Memory: 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM
Battery: 4200mAh

OS: Android version 7 or higher (Android 11 ready)
Suggested Brands: Samsung, Lenovo, Nokia
except Huawei (due to Google Play restriction)

How to disable auto-update

1. To disable the auto-update, locate
your Google Play application in your
tablet.
2. On top right corner, tap the account
icon then look for Settings.
3. Go to Network Preferences, then tap
Auto-update apps.
4. Change it to Don’t auto-update apps

1. To check application version, locate
the app you wish to verify.
2. Press and hold the application icon
until this menu appears.
3. Tap the information icon

1. To uninstall the application, tap the
uninstall button. Other way to
uninstall the app is to press and
hold the app icon then uninstall.
2. Go to device manager, then locate
Installation Files.
3. Search the app from the list then
tap to install.

After the accounts and devices has been
successfully registered, users can then
use the CBMS Application.
On initial login, internet connection is
required. Ensure that the device is
connected to Wifi or Mobile Data.

In case the OTP does not work, did not
receive an OTP, or expired OTP, user
may tap the Refresh icon found on top
right corner of the CBMS App screen.
Enter the user’s username then tap the
Confirm button.

Landing page displays the workload
assigned to the Enumerator (EN) from MIS
portal.
• An EN can be assigned to multiple
Enumeration Areas (EAs). On the other
hand, an EA can only have 1 EN.
Once workload is selected, tap Proceed to
continue.

details of the case.
6. Tap the ᴧ button to hide some
of the case details.

To generate the Form 11 report:
1. Tap the calendar icon to filter
the report date.
2. Tap the desired date.
3. Lastly, tap Ok to continue.

1. Unresolved – contains unresolved incident reported using the
CBMS App. After creating an incident report, it is classified as
unresolved by default.
2. Resolved – contains resolved incident reports. The
TS/CAS/HCAS are the users than can set the incident report to
Resolved.

The following can be batch uploaded:

Download Geopackage – downloads the QGIS map
from the CTCO server which can only be loaded
using the Qfield application for the geotagging
purpose.

Backup
Backup – is used to backup the
CBMS App local database. This is
usually stored within your Tablet
Internal Storage.

Import – is used to restore the
backup database. This is commonly
executed when transferring CBMS
App data from one device to another.

The e-Classification is a PSA-developed Android
application that servers as a search engine for Philippine
standard classification systems used in categorizing
economic activities, products and services, geographic
codes, among others.(1)

To access the e-Classification app from the
CBMS App:
1. From your Home Screen, tap the
Hamburger menu.
2. Locate the e-Classification under resources
3. e-Classification app launches. If the
application is not installed, CBMS App will
redirect you to Google Play to install the
app.

Announcements displays the notifications pushed
by the Supervisors (TS/CAS/HCAS) using the
CBMS App.
On EN level, they can only view the messages
pushed. It is important the EN reads the
announcement as it may include urgent notices like
system updates, system issues, and/or reminders
on deadlines.
