3. Cathedral of Ambato
The original chapel was built in 1698 when, after the earthquake,

5. Quinta of Juan Montalvo

8. Quisapincha
The Parish of San Antonio de Quisapincha, "Paris
Chiquito" is the oldest of the Province of Tungurahua,
Canton Ambato, Ecuador. On May 19, 1861,
Quisapincha was elevated to the rank of parish. It is
considered as a highly productive sector dedicated to
the manufacture of all types of garments made of
leather. This rural parish is located to the southwest,
12 kilometers from Ambato. It's three thousand meters
above sea level. Its limits are: to the north the
province of Cotopaxi, to the south the parishes Pasa

province, for the production and marketing of leather-
based cattle products, such as: sweaters, wallets,
boots, hats and gloves. Quisapincha also has a great
tourist potential for its natural settings suitable for
ecotourism.
9. Monument of the first printing press
It is the monument in honor of the first printing press founded in Ecuador,
the same one that was installed in the city of Ambato in the year 1754 and
was in charge of the Jesuit Fathers, but it only came into operation one year
later in 1755 under the direction of a German who was considered the first printer.
