2. • Rasa-Jala-Nidhi is sort of compilation of Sanskrit verses
transmitted to us from generation to generation, either through
oral tradition or by way of citations occurring in ancient texts
on medicine.
• This is very elaborate work in Rasa Sashtra in Sanskrit with
english literature by the author himself.
• A Bengali scholar, the author, Bhudeva Mukherji, wrote this
in 5 Volumes. Based mostly on the previous works.
• Initially the author aimed at writing 10 volumes but he could
complete only 5 volumes between 1926-1938*

• Told about the pathya – apathya for each disease
• The author mentioned 370 rasa yogas in 4th volume & 272
yogas in volume 5.
