The Libra Internship Program offers university-level
internships for up to twenty rising juniors, seniors and
graduating seniors in the summer of 2013. These students will
be placed at one of the group’s 22 key international locations,
which include New York, Miami, London, Athens, Beijing,
and Buenos Aires. The Libra Group’s many subsidiaries are
focused primarily on shipping, aviation, hospitality, real estate
and renewable energy. Students’ areas of interest and focus of
study will be taken into account as part of the selection and
placement process.

African Business Network specializes in the provision of
capacity building programs for micro and small enterprise
development institutions, especially those involved in
assisting women and youth enterprise groups. Volunteers
will work in the areas of research, strategic business advice
and planning, program development and management,
resource mobilization and strategic planning to support the
organization to achieve the objectives above.

Advancement of Women (Dominican Republic)

advocacy regarding gender issues worldwide. The program is
designed to acquaint students with the work of INSTRAW and
the UN in general. Interns spend two to three months at the
