1 Hardware Configuration
1.1 Device Config window
When the program is started, the [Device Config] window as shown in Fig.1 will appear on the
screen.

Information:If this window is hide,Click the icon on the Toolbar or Click File->New,the
window will appear.
2. 1.2 Detect Phone
Click the right of mouse in the Fig.1,select [Detect Phone] on the interrelated COM as shown in
Fig.2:

If the phone has been detected, the Fig.1 will be showed as in Fig.3:

Information: The detect process can be canceled by clicking the right of the mouse.
1.3 Detect GPS
The method of detect GPS is the same as the Phone’s.
1.4 Enter Living Mode
Click the right of mouse, select the [Live Rec Mode], the program will enter living Mode, as
shown in Fig.4:

Only the program has entered living mode ,the data from phone and GPS can be collected through
serial port.
2 GPS
2.1 GPS Status
Click the main menu [View → GPS Status] to open the [GPS Status] window, as shown in Fig.5:

Green indicates that the GPS can receive the satellite signal, while yellow indicates that the
satellite signal is poor. When the number of green pillar is beyond three, GPS can be fixed.
2.2 Route Map
Click the main menu [View → Route Map] or in the toolbar to open the [Route Map]
window, as shown in Fig.6.

The cellsite database ZRC is created by the soft of NetScope. Only the cellsite database has
6. been loaded, the line link function and other higher function will work.
3 Save File
Click the main menu [File → Save] or in the toolbar to open the save file dialog box. After
click the , the and will appear in the toolbar, you can pause recording data by
click or stop recording data by click .
Information: Only the save file can be replayed.
4 Voice Service Test
You can click the menu [View→Call Monitor] to start the voice service test.

Operation Step:
1) Set Test Plan;
2) Click [Start Call] Button, Start Test;
3) Click [End Call] Button, Stop Test
The function of the Call Monitor is to complete automatic dialing test with the following
functional features:
7. 1) Powerful service scheduling function to flexible define automatic test plans;
2) The ability to intelligent analyze the call failure causes according to L3 messages and give
detailed statistical information of the calls.
5 Data Service Test
5.1 Data Service Test
You can click the menu [View→Data Test] to start the data service test as shown in Fig.8:

Integrated with multiple protocols (PPP, FTP and PING), the data service test module supports
PPP redial on link disconnection, PPP Call by Call test, and FTP and PING test. All the test
processes are shown on the interface in the form of graphs or messages.
5.2 Data Monitor
Click the menu [View → Data Monitor] or [View → Data Throughput] to enable Data
Monitor to monitor the traffic over the four layers of RLP, IP, TCP and UDP as shown in Fig.9 and
Fig.10.
Data Monitor provides the traffic monitoring function over four layers, namely, RLP, IP, TCP
and UDP. It may be used together with the FTP test under the Data Service Test, or with the
external IPERF software.

6 Indoor Test
Fig. 11 shows the operation interface and test diagram for the indoor test.

Table 1 below lists the functions of each button in the toolbar for the indoor test.

Open the indoor test map file (JPG, BMP) or open the pre-defined route file (ITR)
for the indoor test
Save the pre-defined route file for the indoor test
Show the complete indoor test map
Select a path point on the pre-defined route map
Add a path point before the selected path point
Add a path point behind the selected path point
Delete a path point
Add a path point behind the path point last passed and reach it
Reach the next path point from the last path point passed
Back to the last path point passed(back once only)
Delete the pre-defined route map
10. 7 Multi-MS Test
Fig. 12 shows the test diagram for three mobile phones. At present, the system supports a
maximum of 128 mobile phones that comply with Qualcomm's serial data control protocol.

After the three mobile phones are detected, the main menu of the operation interface will
show three [View] Menus in their sequence of being detected: View1, View2 and View3. The
above figure shows the Active Ec/Io value and the power control status of the COM3 port of each
mobile phone in a multi-MS environment. To show other status diagrams of each mobile phone,
you can click the corresponding options under the [View] menu of that mobile phone, while at the
same time you can click the menu [Option→Logging Mask] or [Option→Options] to open the
[Logging Mask] or [Options] window to show relevant options for these mobile phones.
8 Exit
Click the menu [File → Save Window Position] can save the windows position, when the
next test you can click the menu [File → Load Window Position] to load the windows position, so
you can save some configure time.
Click the main menu [File →Pause Logging] or in the toolbar can pause recording data,
Click the main menu [File →Stop Logging] or . in the toolbar can stop recording data.
Click the main menu [File →Close] can close all the windows , the program will enter initial state.
