The Organisation of Living Things
- 2. In our society we have
organisations like school,
hospital etc. To manage the
work of these organisations,
they have different departments
to do different tasks , where
employees work for the
organisations. The work of
organisation is allotted or
divided among them. All work is
completed neatly and on time if
everybody works carefully and
responsibly. To complete big
task the parts of society coming
together is known as
organisation.

- 3. A human body is the best
example of the organisation
of living things. Sense organs
of the body get the
information of outer world
where as hands and legs
moves the body.
Brain, heart, lungs, stomach ,
kidney , bones every part of
the body does its special
work.

- 4. In human body there are
different organising systems to
manage different work.
Eg. Blood circulatory system ,
breathing system, digestive
system, excretion system etc .
The parts of the system work
together to complete the task.
The system is made up of all
the parts working together in
the system.
Eg. Digestive system has
parts like mouth , esophagus ,
liver , stomach , gallbladder ,
small intestine , large intestine.

- 5. Each sense organ is made of
different tissues.
A group of cells that performs
a similar function and has
similar structure is called as
tissue.

- 6. Each cell contains parts like
nucleus , cytoplasm etc. All
parts work together for the
cell like breathing , excretion
etc.
Cell is the unit in organization
of living things.
In living things cell
organization is the basic level
of organization of living
things.

- 7. As bricks are used to built
wall, walls collectively
makes room , rooms
together make home ,
home collectively form
society , many society
forms villages similarly cells
collectively forms tissue ,
tissue forms organs ,organs
collectively form system
organism , population ,
community , ecosystem.

- 8. Unicellular living beings
replicate organization at cell
level. Unicellular like
Paramecium , Euglena ,
Spirogyra , Ameba all these
complete their life cycle in
single cell.

- 9. If life cycle can not be
completed at cell level then it
is completed at tissue level .
Cells form group with same
structure and same function
which is called as tissue.
This is how tissue are grow.
Ex. Moss , Algae , hydra.
Tissue are of different types.

- 10. When organ made from different
types of tissue take part in
completing life cycle, at
organization level it is called as
organ organization.
Organ system is the top most
level of organ organization.
All plant which grow from seed
shows organization at
community level.

- 11. In Organization counting all
living beings of same type are
counted.
Ex. Number of people living on
earth is population of human
on earth.
Similarly different types of
animals and plants can be
counted.

- 12. The place where living being
live , grow is called as
domicile .
The domicile contains living
beings like animals and
plants similarly non – living
things like water, land,
mountain.

- 13. In one domicile , different kinds
of living beings come together
to form society. One domicile
can contain many societies.
The living things in a domicile
are organic part and non-living
things are inorganic part
together forms ecosystem.
Rivers, ponds, sea, forest , land
are examples of ecosystem on
earth.

- 14. Earth has three layers as
continental crust, water crust
and atmosphere. Living
beings are present in all the
three layers. The environment
around the living being is
called as life layer.
The organic component and
inorganic component of
ecosystem are dependent on
each other , they continuously
get interact with each other.
