• A domain tree is made up of several domains that share a common
schema and configuration, forming a contiguous namespace. Domains
in a tree are also linked together by trust.

9. • A forest is a single instance of Active Directory.
• When you have multiple forests in an enterprise, by default, act separately
from each other as if they were the only directory service in your
organization.
