Below are some of the ways we are
improving our human development
indices and necessary infrastructure that
promotes a healthy, motivated, and
socially secured environment where no
one is left behind in Ekiti State:
1. Revival of Ounje-Arugbo, a Food Bank
for the elderly, to complement the Owo
Arugbo program.
2. Distribution of food packages to
households across all the 16 LGAs of Ekiti
State during the COVID-19 pandemic
lockdown.
3. Infrastructural upgrade of over 100
primary and secondary health facilities.
4. Acquisition of a Molecular
Laboratory for the testing of COVID-
19, and upgrade of 150-bed capacity
Infectious Diseases Centre.
5. Launch of the State Health
Insurance Scheme.
6. Construction of a fully-equipped
vocational training centre (4 training
halls, a 400 seater auditorium) and
recreational facility for people with
disabilities.
