About IPC
• “As an association and as an industry, we have many milestones and
achievements to celebrate. On these pages, read about the vision of
the six printed circuit board manufacturers that came together to
create the Institute of Printed Circuits in the fall of 1957. Since that
day, IPC has been dedicated to removing supply chain obstacles,
creating industry standards, and supporting the advancement of the
industry.”

IPC
• Market research and statistical programs have been among IPC's
member services since the organization's founding in 1957. These
services strengthen the electronic interconnect industry by helping
member companies to excel and compete. Member companies
benefit by identifying opportunities, understanding trends and
having data that provides a solid basis for planning.
• All of these programs were created to meet the needs of all
segments of IPC's membership, including manufacturers of printed
circuit boards (PCBs), electronics manufacturing services (EMS)
companies, PCB and EMS suppliers, and original equipment
manufacturers (OEMs). IPC members drive the content of IPC’s
market research programs, which are constantly evolving to meet
their changing needs.
About Bauer
• “Greatmagazines” launched in 2003 is the Bauer Media UK
dedicated subscription sales website. Ranging over 71 Bauer Media
UK magazines the site specialises in subscriptions and single issue
sales in both print and digital.
• The ecommerce site is not only mobile responsive but is fully
optimised for international visitors with prices listed in 5 different
currencies. Customers can purchase subscriptions or single issues
worldwide using multiple payment methods including Direct Debit,
Continuous credit card or PayPal and a recent upgrade means the
Bauer Media site is the first UK subscription site to offer all
customers recurring PayPal.

million people subscribe to one of Bauer Media Group’s titles – one
of the highest subscription figures in the media landscape.

• We sell around 433 million issues per year in Germany, with
newsstand sales and subscriptions accounting for 96 percent
• 27 of our magazines are among the 100 highest-selling magazines at

• 56% of all women read magazines from Bauer
• Number 1 in Australia and New Zealand
• Market leader in the general-interest magazine segment in Poland.
In the UK and USA, Bauer Media Group leads the market in weeklies
and premium magazines, as well as in the youth, listings and people
