Manager of Finance – Mexico direct operation
Responsible for the financial accounting department of a $60 million usd foreign affiliate
operation, with focus in the areas of inventory controls, forecasting, budget analysis and
foreign exchange. Direct supervision of nine employees including the import and export
dept. Implemented a DBS accounting system for the service dept in order to track and
improve service contract profitability.
Manager of Risk and Cash Flow – Latin America
Responsible for the credit review, approval, collection and managing of the trade
equipment-financing portfolio ($300 million usd). Evaluated country risk (commercial
and political) and established the proper accounting reserves in order to obtain risk
insurance. Responsible for the restructuring and repossession dept of Latin America.
Assisted in the preparation of the distributor franchise agreements and trade financing
agreements with a Japanese finance company.

Manager of Accounting G.E. Real Estate Equities
Responsible for the general accounting department of an $800 million business. Duties
included reviewing monthly and quarterly consolidated/individual financial reports,
preparing long-range forecasts, net present value calculations, IRR, board presentations
and pooling of mortgages to be sold as mortgaged backed securities. Handled the cash
transactions for the treasury operations. Supervised 6 financial analysts.
