activities completed efficiently and
effectively with and through other
people.
What is marketing ?
Marketing is an organizational function and a set of
processes for creating, communicating and delivering
value to customers and for managing customer
relationships in ways that benefit the organization &
its stakeholders.
The Indian Railways was a loss-making
organization. In the 4 years under Lalu Prasad
Yadav’s leadership, He also improved on his first
year's performance by stating a profit of 14,000
crores in 2006. Then, in the 2007 budget, he
increased the profit level to 20,000 crores. In
2008, profits were 25,000 crores.
