Dr. Eric Y. Tao directs of the Institute for Innovation and Economic Development since 2009, sponsored by Economic Development Administration of the US Government, serving the Greater Monterey Bay region by providing a venue for innovative ideas, the commercial transfer of research and technology, and an investors and mentors network for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Dr. Tao founded and directed the School of Computing and Design at California State University Monterey Bay between 2002 and 2015.
