Ernest Pons has a PhD in Applied Economics and an MSC in Education and ICT. His research is focused on short term analysis of economy, economic growth and disparities at the local and regional level. He held several academic positions at University: Head of Studies, Master's Coordinator, Quality Agency Director, Head of Office of the Rector and Vice-Rector. And is currently focused on studies related to the social dimension of the university. On topics such as the living conditions of university students, their academic performance and their links with learning processes. He is the scientific coordinator of EUROSTUDENT project in Spain and Scientific coordinator of Via Universitaria project
