Despolarization: Process. -Nerve imulse open sodium and potassium pumps, so the potential difference disappears. -This process only occurs in the nodes of Ranvier, and it´s called saltatory despolarization.
Sinapsys: Pre-synaptic cell. When the nerve impulse comes to the pre-synaptic cell the neurotransmitters are liberated.

  • 7. Despolarization: Process. -Nerve imulse open sodium and potassium pumps, so the potential difference disappears. -This process only occurs in the nodes of Ranvier, and it´s called saltatory despolarization.
  • 8. Sinapsys: Pre-synaptic cell. When the nerve impulse comes to the pre-synaptic cell the neurotransmitters are liberated.
