In this module, you will further develop your
investigative skills, exploring relevant underlying
concepts and principles and interpreting these within
the context of your area of study. You will explore the
nature of creativity, the wider context of the industry
and practice reflective techniques.
You will also explore various styles and schools of
performance relevant to your field of study, as well as
gain an understanding of the background and context
of your chosen pathway. In addition, you will improve
your understanding of how your area of interest
intersects with the wider creative industry.

  • 1. SPINE BA1 SEMESTER 2: THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES & YOU 2: PERFORMANCE PRACTICES IN CONTEXT Learning objectives: - You will be introduced to the content of the module. - You will understand the foundational concepts and principles of making performance.
  • 2. How did you find the end of semester projects? Highlights? Critiques? SHOWS AND ASSESSMENTS Do you feel that semester one gave you the right tools to work on the final shows with? Assessment grades will be released this Friday. Retakes will be due for the Easter break. Any questions on grades or feedback, get in touch.
  • 3. In this module, you will further develop your investigative skills, exploring relevant underlying concepts and principles and interpreting these within the context of your area of study. You will explore the nature of creativity, the wider context of the industry and practice reflective techniques. You will also explore various styles and schools of performance relevant to your field of study, as well as gain an understanding of the background and context of your chosen pathway. In addition, you will improve your understanding of how your area of interest intersects with the wider creative industry. CREATIVE INDUSTRIES & YOU 2: WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
