We need to have a clear idea of what GLOSOLAN will work on What are GLOSOLAN’s pending and eventual activities?
• Objectives/impacts/indicators • Terminology • Data Policy (to be assigned to INSII, Pillar 4) • Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), including new technologies like spectroscopy • Harmonization • Proficiency testing • Regional Soil Laboratory Networks (RESOLANs) • Interpretation • Capacity building (e.g. trainings, exchange programmes, twinning, etc.) • Communication Pending…what else?
Eventual • Certification • Accreditation • Creation of national soil laboratory networks • Harmonization of Soil Testing Kits
Day 1: 28 November • Review of the first GLOSOLAN online survey results • Objectives/impacts/indicators • Regional Soil Laboratory Networks (RESOLANs)
Day 2: 29 November • Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) including new technologies like spectroscopy • Harmonization • Best practice manual
Day 3: 30 November • Proficiency testing • Data policy • Terminology • Work plan • Brainstorming about accreditation, certification, capacity building and the creation of national soil laboratory networks

  • 5. Day 1: 28 November • Review of the first GLOSOLAN online survey results • Objectives/impacts/indicators • Regional Soil Laboratory Networks (RESOLANs)
  • 6. Day 2: 29 November • Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) including new technologies like spectroscopy • Harmonization • Best practice manual
  • 7. Day 3: 30 November • Proficiency testing • Data policy • Terminology • Work plan • Brainstorming about accreditation, certification, capacity building and the creation of national soil laboratory networks
