  7. 7. Co-funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union Cloudino An Internet of Things platform Arduino API WiFi Cloud Connector Cloud Service Open Source and Open Hardware It provides an API that gets integrated directly with the APIs available in FIWARE. •It is a WiFi device that connects microcontrollers to the Internet. •It has an independent processor working in parallel dedicated only to the network layer including the IoT protocols. •It allows reprogramming the microcontroller via WiFi. Cloud services for managing IoT devices from the web. Cloudino is an IoT platform that allows connecting different microcontroller platforms (Atmel AVR, PIC, Intel Edison, etc.) to the cloud in a simple and transparent way.
  8. 8. Co-funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union Cloudino an Internet of Things Platform • Direct Connection to Orion Context Broker • Connection via MQTT IoT-Agent (IDAS) • Connection via Cloudino.io cloud service The first Hardware Generic Enabler that integrates IoT devices to the FIWARE platform. It encapsulates the complexity of FIWARE, providing: http://cloudino.io/

  • This picture presents in general way the GreenRoute`s concept.
Green Route obtain the data from:
Mobile and fixed sensors (based on the IoT approach) to get real time information.
Additionally, Green Route obtains data from other sources, such as air quality monitoring provided as open data and data generated through the concept of human-as-a-sensor to get the user feedback about specific conditions in its location (e.g., rain, pollution, etc.).

Green Route is based on the cloud capabilities of FIWARE, which enables to connect sensors through standard specifications and provides software components to store sensors data, enabling data analysis and querying. It is important to point out that for developing the route system.

We are considering to generate a series of releases among the requirement process, in order to satisfy the user needs obtaining early feedback and to satisfy important technical, resource, budget and risk constraints.
Hence, we don’t follow the conventional Tropos software development process.
