3. Mental Health:
It is defined as a state of well-being in
which every individual realizes his or her
own potential, can cope with the normal
stresses of life, can work productively and
fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution
to his or her community (WHO, 2007).

health problems we can all experience in certain
stressful circumstances; e.g, work pressures
,financial constraints, inadequate food, loss and

8. Medical perspective – In the medical perspective,
Covid 19 is known as a disease caused by SARS-Cov
-2 virus . Like other respiratory viruses Covid -19
causes inflammation of the airway from the nose
sinuses and throat all the way to the airways of the
lungs .

9. The disease has two phases:The first is viral replication
phase whereby the patient may be asymptomatic or
having symptoms but not severely sick to require
admission.
The second is the inflammation phase whereby the
person is sick, requiring admission to hospital .By
then the viral replication is over and the immune
system is overreacting to the remains of the virus, not
the actual virus. The greater the viral replication
during phase 1, the greater the viral load and
subsequently the viral remains fuel the inflammation
during the 2nd phase
