Itis a brand of backpacks owned by VF corporation.itwas founded in 1967 in Seattle, Washington. Its headquarters are located in alameda, California.it was founded by Murray pletz and Jan Lewis.

  11. 11. Finishing: Trimming: Excess fabric is trimmed from the sewn edges.

  13. 13. Packing: Finished product is then stuffed with a stabilizer to maintain the shape of the backpack and to prevent any crimps in the fabric. It is then packed into plastic covers and is stacked on the basis of size, shape and color. Price of the Jansport backpacks prior to market range from $40-$125 depending on the style. Production cost is $15 to $18. There are 27 variations of Jansport backpacks. Shipment: Final product is shipped to a widespread market place in Africa, Asia, New Zealand, Europe and Middle East.
