Parabolic Career Coaching is an education technology company that provides career development
services. Parabolic leverages its data, software, expertise in recruiting, and extensive network to
accelerate the recruitment process for candidates seeking high-paying careers. We work with
professionals ranging from entry-level to C-suite and provide services that enable continual
career growth.
3. HOW WE DO IT
Candidates and employers on our platform get access to content data on, software to hire recruit/hire, and a
community of professionals to engage
We have developed software that currently scrapes and identifies over 60,000 unique resumes per
month for candidates actively search for jobs. This in-house software helps funnel sales into our
B2B and B2C business and helps us aggregate employment information for both job seekers and
hiring managers.
Parabolic leverages its data, software, expertise in recruiting, and extensive network to
accelerate the recruitment process for candidates seeking high-paying careers. We work with
professionals ranging from entry-level to C-suite and provide services that enable continual
career growth.
4. MARKET
SIZE: Our TAM is well over $100B. Our services are accessible to all people in the world seeking to
develop their career, education, or find community. We have found ways to find educational
institutions, non-profits, and private lenders to fund our services on behalf of our clients.
Furthermore, we are developing an accessible ($50/month) subscription model to keep
professionals, employers, and job seekers engaged throughout their educational and professional
careers.

GROWTH: The job market is growing in the US and globally. In times of recession, the public
sector actively intervene to create opportunities.
WHY NOW?: Layoffs due to the recession and return-to-office policy is leading to a spike is job
seekers changing employment. The investment thesis is that the current professional is no longer
working towards retirement with 1 employer. The shorter employee tenures make the demand for
B2B and B2C business stronger in this marker.
5. BUSINESS MODEL
B2C SAAS: Selling our service direct to consumer online with a monthly subscription model. The
average collected per month per user is $1,150 but the service costs $12,000 over the first year
and $50-$100 per month after that in order to continue to participate in the community.
Gross Profit Margin: 83%
B2B SAAS: Selling our software to hiring managers in the PE and VC space for an annual
subscription of $100,000. Then using this platform to hire for the portfolio companies. The success
fees in the space are 33% of total comp and includes the equity component of compensation. We
have strategically won business at PE shops, Fund of funds, and VCs to scale for 2023.

7. TRACTION & HISTORY
January 2020: Femi Palmer founded Parabolic LLC while in Nigeria working at Y-
Combinator-backed Venture
June 2020: Parabolic’s first client received an offer to Mckinsey & Comapny
December 2020: The first 6 coaches were onboarded onto the platform
January 2021 - June 2021: Parabolic placed 22 of 23 candidates
October 2021 – December 2021: Parabolic hires 130 coaches onto platform and 5Xs
revenue 3 months in a row
January 2022: Femi leaves Bain to focus on Parabolic after growing the B2B client book
to 20 clients in the PE, VC, and startup space
February 2022: Desmond Howard joins Parabolic to help scale the business and build
out the MVP of the platform software
October 2022: Parabolic alters business model from services to software and opens up
Parabolic Career Coaching LLC in Delaware. The new business is
