This document outlines Suncorp's journey to adopting an agile methodology for software development in Australia. It describes why Suncorp chose to change to agile, the adoption strategy used, outcomes achieved, and lessons learned. Suncorp saw agile as a way to increase innovation and delivery speed. Their adoption strategy included training over 800 employees, establishing an Agile Academy, conducting maturity assessments, and providing coaching. As a result, Suncorp met and exceeded delivery targets, developed a world-class training program, and was recognized globally for innovation and fast delivery.
